As told by Elder Henry Skywater MembersThe Circling Buffalo board is comprised of two (2) members designated by the AMC First Nations Women’s Committee; two (2) members designated by the Social Development Advisory Technical Group (SDATG); one (1) appointed First Nations Shelter Representative; one (1) selected First Nation Elder. They serve for an appointed term of four (4) years. MandateThe Manitoba First Nations Board for Family Violence Prevention aims to empower our communities to build upon their strengths, communicate and network effectively, and provide prevention services through holistic, community-driven programming. |
